Description

The Cornucopia Food Pantry has been in operation since 1997. It is located at the Waysmeet Center on the beautiful campus of the University of New Hampshire. Cornucopia is a student operated and organized venture that provides a real life experience for folks to make a difference. The Food Pantry offers food on a weekly basis, and provides food baskets three times a year. The Cornucopia Food Pantry and Waysmeet Center also work with families and community members to link folks with transportation, gift, and support resources. We currently serve around 1,500 customers a year feeding over 6,000 people, not counting food baskets. The food pantry maintains different summer and academic-year hours to best accomodate our community members. Hours of operation are as follows: Summer (Jun-Aug): Tuesdays, 4:00-5:30 PM; Academic Year (Sept-May): Tuesdays, 4:00-5:30 PM, and Fridays, 12:00-2:00PM; By Appointment: Please call (603) 862-1165 to arrange an appointment outside these times.
