CVCC Food Pantry

The CVCC Food Pantry is an outreach program of the Conway Village Congregational Church. The pantry has been serving many in the area who are struggling to feed their families. Those that we serve are able to access the pantry on a monthly basis and are given food and personal care items. Our pantry operates completely on donations from the church, other food agencies, group organizations and individuals from the community. We are very grateful to Shaw's grocery stores and their staff for their hospitality for our food drives. These donations have kept the pantry running and providing the needed assistance for many families in the area. The CVCC Food Pantry has undergone a lot of improvements with the purchase of two new freezers and new electrical wiring in the pantry area. We will be completely restructuring the food pantry in the coming months so that our patrons can enter and exit the building at the same level as the pantry, ending the need to carry their groceries up the stairs. These improvements have helped us to be able to serve our clients better.
