MCC Food Shelf

The Muslim Community Center's food shelf program is uniquely managed to support local families in need. We do not offer any clothing or financial services at this time. The food shelf is available at the building lobby - free of charge to anyone in need and additional food can be arranged to the home in complete confidentiality. If you or someone you know are in need of assistance in the form of food or necessary houshold items please contact the MCC office. Our office coordinator takes appointments to discuss and determine the needs of each family, to best support them and their family. MCC offers Halal Food Shelf services to those in need. Halal is the Arabic word for permissible. In order for food to meet the this Islamic dietary criteria, meat products are slaughtered according to Islamic guidelines and food must be free of alcohol and pork products/by-products. MCC offers its food shelf services to all those in need regardless of religious affiliation. The Food Shelf Program is made possible through donations and funding from private community members, local mosques, volunteers, local shops and merchants.
