Description
The Food Pantry provides an immediate response to a lack of resources by allowing low-income residents the opportunity to select a seven day supply of food, infant and hygiene products. Fresh, shelf-stable, dietary and cultural foods are available. VEAP operates the largest Food Pantry in the state of Minnesota serving nearly 10,000 individuals on a monthly basis. VEAP's pantry operates under a client choice model meaning clients are able to select the food they know their family can use. The VEAP Service Center makes it possible for 445 people to benefit from the food pantry per day. Just as important, families are able to get an appointment within 48 hours.
