Description
Mission: For charitable purposes on an all volunteer basis, to help bring relief for the poor, distressed or underprivileged by providing hot meals. To follow as closely as possible Mt. 25:35, "For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you made me welcome." Acts of Charity and benevolence are to be carried out in manner allowing all who enter our doors to be treated with dignity and respect and to partake without question, or criteria for eligibility. To carry out our ministry relying on the generosity of our community. Fresh hot nutritious meals are served free of charge in our safe, warm dining hall every Tuesday and Thursday. Dinner is served at 5:00PM, but doors open at 4:45PM. We serve all who are in need of a meal, no one is turned away. Dinner is served up until 5:35PM. To join us for a meal, just walk right on in, meals are free, you will not be asked for money. You can find us downstairs in the Community Hall at Faith Christian Church, 40 Boutelle Street in Fitchburg.
