Avalon Food Pantry

Unforeseen things can unexpectedly happen at anytime in our lives. It can be illness, a job loss, home or auto expenses, accident, medical bills or a death in a family. We are here to help by offering a place to find items of food, clothing and miscellaneous items. Our mission is to be a church and people supported ministry, striving to provide a supply of provisions for those associated with our church and the surrounding community in times of need and/or crisis. We desire to be available to help anyone having a temporary need or crisis, by providing a supply of food, thus allowing the use of resources in other areas. When you arrive each week, you will need to take a number and fill out an application form. When your number is called, you will be free to choose from the food items available that evening. We are located at 1500 Lower Huntington Rd. in Fort Wayne, IN. We open our doors at 6:15pm on Thursdays, and begin service at 6:30.
