We have a very active food bank that continues to meet the needs of the community. We receive donations from individuals in our church and community and we are affiliated with the Associated Churches food bank. We also receive items from the Community Harvest Food Bank. We serve two times a month - the second Tuesday and the last Saturday of the month (there are occasional changes to work around holidays). On our Saturday food bank days we have volunteers come in and serve a sit down hot breakfast to our guests! This has been a great opportunity to sit down together over a meal and share life together. Although we won't turn anyone away on their first visit to us, we use the guidelines given to us by the Associated Churches and will help people connect to the food bank closest to their residence.
